About The Position

Leidos is seeking a NetOps Programmer to be part of the mission solution and help lead SSA’s Digital Modernization Strategy. Join one of our high performing teams responsible for building the next-generation enterprise APIs and modern responsive user interfaces, supporting the Social Security Administration (SSA) and their mission to meet the changing needs of the public, positively impacting at least 65 million American lives per month. Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or a related field. Masters or Doctorate degree may substitute for required experience
5-7 years of experience with a high-level scripting language such as Python or Perl
5 years of experience or more as a Network Engineer focusing on network performance management.
5 years of experience with SMARTS enterprise network monitoring system, with at least 3 years specific to implementation and configuration of SMARTS tool.
NetOPS expertise and Broadcom in depth knowledge
4 years of experience with RHEL combine between versions 7 and 8.

Nice To Haves

Perl, Python, and Java advanced programmer skills.
Developing on JBoss EAP environments skills and experience.
MySQL database management experience.
Knowledge of version control tools like Git or Bitbucket.
Experience developing on Service Now is a plus.
Demonstrated experience growing, maintaining, problem monitoring and engineer problem resolutions.
Experience developing best practice project plans, engineering scripts, and documentation for network performance management.
Prior Federal government experience
Self-starter, highly motivated individual who adapts and isn’t afraid to volunteer in a dynamic work environment
Strong attention to detail with an ability to operate effectively across multiple priorities
Participate in daily scrum and provide updates.
