Leidos is seeking a NetOps Programmer to be part of the mission solution and help lead SSA’s Digital Modernization Strategy. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or a related field. Masters or Doctorate degree may substitute for required experience
  • 5-7 years of experience with a high-level scripting language such as Python or Perl
  • 5 years of experience or more as a Network Engineer focusing on network performance management.
  • 5 years of experience with SMARTS enterprise network monitoring system, with at least 3 years specific to implementation and configuration of SMARTS tool.
  • NetOPS expertise and Broadcom in depth knowledge
  • 4 years of experience with RHEL combine between versions 7 and 8.

Nice To Haves

  • Perl, Python, and Java advanced programmer skills.
  • Developing on JBoss EAP environments skills and experience.
  • MySQL database management experience.
  • Knowledge of version control tools like Git or Bitbucket.
  • Experience developing on Service Now is a plus.
  • Demonstrated experience growing, maintaining, problem monitoring and engineer problem resolutions.
  • Experience developing best practice project plans, engineering scripts, and documentation for network performance management.
  • Prior Federal government experience
  • Self-starter, highly motivated individual who adapts and isn’t afraid to volunteer in a dynamic work environment
  • Strong attention to detail with an ability to operate effectively across multiple priorities
  • Participate in daily scrum and provide updates.
