As a .NET Developer, you will play a key role in designing, enhancing, and maintaining our Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) and related .NET-based systems. This position is ideal for a developer who enjoys collaborating with cross-functional teams, translating business needs into robust technical solutions, and ensuring systems are stable, scalable, and ready to support ongoing growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Approximately 2+ years of professional software development experience in .NET environments.
  • Proficiency in .NET / .NET Core development using C#, with working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Experience working with relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server (e.g., SSMS, SSIS, SSRS) and/or MySQL.
  • Experience developing and consuming APIs, and familiarity with version control tools such as GitHub and Azure DevOps.
  • Understanding of secure coding practices, data privacy considerations, and the full application lifecycle, along with strong communication and collaboration skills for working effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain .NET applications (including LIMS and other laboratory systems) using industry-standard coding practices, SDLC methodologies, and appropriate frameworks and tools.
  • Create and maintain clear technical documentation, including design specifications, architecture diagrams, data flows, workflows, use cases, user stories, and deployment instructions.
  • Execute thorough testing of new features, enhancements, integrations, and bug fixes to ensure system stability, performance, and compatibility.
  • Collaborate closely with IT, laboratory operations, data teams, and project managers to assess business requirements, define system needs, and translate them into actionable technical specifications.
  • Troubleshoot and analyze system defects, identify root causes, and implement well-structured, durable solutions while clearly communicating status and resolution paths to stakeholders.
  • Support end users through training, guidance, and ongoing assistance to promote effective adoption and use of existing and newly developed applications.
