The Minnesota Department of Information Technology Services (MNIT) partnering with Minnesota Department of Public Safety (DPS), Bureau of Criminal Apprehension (BCA), is seeking one full-time Software Developer to work in the Minnesota Justice Information Services (MNJIS) section of the BCA. The Software Developer will assist State staff with rewriting and support for BCA’s .NET, web services, object oriented applications for modernization, and critical security updates. At a high level, the resource will provide ongoing support, including functionality and critical security updates. The resource will also be required to assist in training on the integration of the said application. The work is expected to follow BCA's hybrid approach, requiring Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays in the office, Wednesdays and Fridays may work from home. The on-site work location is at 1430 Maryland Avenue, St. Paul, MN 55106. This request is for one full-time staff augmentation resource. Each vendor is allowed to submit one resource for consideration. Yes. If the incumbent is submitted, they will be evaluated in the same way as all other candidates, using the criteria set forth in this Event. The State will conduct interviews. The State reserves the right to remove a resource from consideration if the resource is unavailable for interview as requested by the State. Interviews will be conducted via Microsoft Teams.
