About The Position
Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) seeks a creative and talented .NET Developer who is passionate about solving problems and improving peoples' lives. SEL develops critical products that provide the main interface for protecting, controlling, monitoring & analyzing the power grid. Our team supports SEL public web presence at selinc.com. This role is focused on building and maintaining our web-based product configurator. Some technologies we commonly use are Typescript, React, C#, MSSQL, Postgres, and Kubernetes. Associate .NET Developer: $84,240 - $124,461 per year, .NET Developer: $97,740 - $144,460 per year, Lead .NET Developer: $115,300 - $170,400 per year. We are open to reviewing additional candidates with more or less experience and the pay range may differ if filled at a different level. Our pay ranges are determined by job, responsibility, and location. We base our starting pay offer and title on location and job-related factors such as candidate experience, training, knowledge, and skills. Requirements
- You have a BA/BS degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- You have 2+ years of software engineering, or equivalent experience.
- You can learn new skills and assume new responsibilities.
- You have strong, writing, documentation, and speaking skills.
- You enjoy working in a collaborative team environment.
- You enjoy solving complex problems by providing simple solutions.
- You want to help build the future of online interactions between SEL and our customers.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the design, implementation, testing, and documentation of software systems.
- Recommend and implement processes following industry best practices for developing, testing, and deploying software.
