About The Position

GDC is seeking a .NET Application Developer to work in the Mechanicsburg, PA area. Position Overview: .NET Application Developer should have a solid understanding of application lifecycle development and a strong understanding of object-oriented development principles. The .NET Application Developer must be experienced with the Microsoft suite of development tools and technologies and have very strong C#, SQL Server, and web development skills.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or the equivalent years of experience.
Candidate must be eligible to obtain a security clearance.
The candidate must be a team player with a willing attitude and possess strong interpersonal skills to be able to interact with team members and senior managers.
Candidate must have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and be able to perform independent analysis and complete assigned tasks with minimal supervision.
Candidate should possess strong interpersonal skills to be able to interact with team members and senior managers.
2-10+ years of experience with the following tools:
C#, ASP.NET Model View Controller (MVC) or ASP.NET Web Forms
Entity Framework/LINQ
Web Services/Windows Communication Foundation (WCF)
SQL Server 2014+ and Transact-SQL (T-SQL)
HTML, CSS, Javascript and jQuery
XML and JSON
Microsoft Visual Studio
Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS)
Must be US Citizen

Responsibilities

The candidate will provide application development support with experience in Microsoft .NET framework.
Support will include program development for the web-based application utilizing MS solution including MS Visual Studio 2010, ASP.NET, C#, JQuery, SQL Server and scripting, and Team Foundation Server (TFS).
This effort involves detailed analysis of the current system, program revisions, maintenance, enhancements and post implementation support of the application/system/database utilizing an Agile Approach.
