About The Position

Neonatologist Department of Pediatrics Boston Medical Center – Brighton (Clinical Faculty Appointment, 0.6–1.0 FTE) Boston Medical Center – Brighton, a member of Boston Medical Center Health System, is seeking a full- or part-time Neonatologist to join our growing collaborative network serving Boston Medical Center – Brighton and Boston Medical Center – South (Brockton, MA). This role includes providing high-quality neonatal care across our Level III NICU, Special Care Nursery, and Well Baby Nursery environments. Position Summary The Neonatologist will join a well-established group of neonatologists and pediatric hospitalists who provide comprehensive, family-centered care across the system. The clinical commitment spans both locations for a total of 0.6–1.0 FTE , offering flexibility in scheduling and a supportive, team-based care model. The network includes: 18-bed Level III NICU at Boston Medical Center – Brighton 10-bed Special Care Nursery and Well Baby Nursery at Boston Medical Center – South Faculty appointment at Boston University School of Medicine is available, commensurate with experience, within our academic and clinical partnership. About Boston Medical Center – Brighton Boston Medical Center – Brighton provides community-based access to high-quality pediatric and neonatal services as part of the BMC Health System. Our Brighton and South campuses work collaboratively to deliver seamless, integrated care for newborns and their families across eastern Massachusetts.

Requirements

  • MD or equivalent degree.
  • Board certification or eligibility in Pediatrics and Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine .
  • Eligibility for medical licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
  • Commitment to high-quality clinical care, teamwork, and serving diverse patient populations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide inpatient clinical care in the NICU, Special Care Nursery, and Well Baby Nursery.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary rounds, care coordination, and family communication.
  • Collaborate closely with neonatologists, pediatric hospitalists, nurses, and ancillary staff to deliver evidence-based neonatal care.
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives across the neonatal service.
  • Engage in teaching of residents and medical students, as appropriate.
