About The Position
Onsite Neonatal at Shore Medical Center in Somers Point, NJ, provides 24/7 in-house coverage with no on-call commitment. In partnership with hospitals, our neonatology programs are grounded in evidence-based medicine and are built for safety, efficiency, and effectiveness. Unit facts: Level II NICU 900 deliveries 24-hour shifts, in-house Why Onsite: For almost three decades, Onsite Neonatal has been the premier provider of NICU, SCN, and well newborn care. We build long-term, collaborative relationships with local obstetricians, pediatricians, and hospital teams to ensure the best outcomes for every patient. Our 24/7 in-house model allows for an immediate response to every newborn in need. Life in Somers Point: Somers Point is located 10 miles southwest of Atlantic City on Great Egg Harbor Bay, where it has the charm of a quaint Bay Village reminiscent of the days of great fishing and shipbuilding, which were the mainstay of old South Jersey. With its many fine restaurants and marinas and a fabulous view of the bay from Kennedy Park (once known as "High Banks Park") this little town is one of the great attractions to the Jersey Shore. The city is conveniently located just 60 miles southeast of Philadelphia.
