Under the direction of the Manager, Director, and Vice President of Nursing, the Neonatal Nurse Practitioner delivers specialty care with a high degree of expertise in perinatal and neonatal health by formulating a plan based on assessment, examination, and selected diagnostic procedures within their scope of practice. Provides leadership for the health care team by collaborating with physicians, nursing, case manager, and multi-disciplinary team members to ensure high quality, comprehensive care is delivered. Has a collaborative practice agreement with the Neonatologist. Saint Francis Healthcare System is seeking a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to join our dynamic team to support the region’s largest Level III NICU between Memphis and St. Louis Position Details: Join a group of 3 board-certified, fellowship-trained neonatologists and 5 Neonatal Nurse Practitioners 36 bed NICU. 306 bed Medical Center, 18 LDPR rooms. Our team supports a busy, high-volume, high-quality OB service of more than 1500 births annually. NEC: 0% and ROP: 0% Supported by the area’s only full-time perinatology service and expert staff of nurses, respiratory therapists, and other specialists trained to detect and avert problems associated with high-risk pregnancies and deliveries. Schedule will be roughly 1, 24-hour shift (0700 - 0700) per week (total of 4 shifts/month)
