Neonatal Nurse Practitioner – PRN Join a collegial neonatal team at one of the best hospitals in North Carolina! About the Opportunity: Practice in a Level III, 13-bed NICU. Cohesive team of experience providers. Responsible for newborn rounding, attending deliveries, stabilizing and facilitating transport of patients to/from regional nurseries. State-of-the-art labor and delivery program includes OB Hospitalists and Maternal Fetal Medicine. 24-hour shifts with a possibility of 12-hour shift schedule. 1 Neonatologist and 1 NNP per day shift, manageable census. Requirements
- Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- Graduate of a Nurse Practitioner education program plus national certification.
- Minimum 3 years of NNP experience in a Level III/IV NICU.
- Able to practice independently covering the newborn service.
- Clean background, NC licensure and NRP certification required.
