About The Position
Carle Health is seeking Neonatal Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants to join our Level III NICU team at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, Illinois. Opportunity Details PRN position Join a growing team of 8 Nurse Practitioners and 6 Neonatologists 48-bed NICU including a 14-bed step-down unit Dedicated 24-hour Neonatologist Physician team coverage 600+ admissions and 3000+ deliveries per year Attend high risk deliveries and perform standard NICU procedures such as: intubation, lumbar punctures, PICC lines, Umbilical Catheterization, and chest tubes Dedicated Neonatal and Perinatal air and ground transport team Champaign-Urbana has been defined as a micro-urban community, meaning we have many of the amenities of a much bigger city, with the feel of a smaller town. Requirements
- Master's degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant
- PA applicants will need to have completed a NICU APP Fellowship or have previous experience practicing as a NICU PA
- Current Illinois registered nurse license and advanced practice nurse license
- Neonatal Nurse Practitioner Certification and licensure required
