Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for an ExperiencedNon-Destructive Test (NDT) Quality Test Specialist - 2nd Shift to join our team based out of Everett, Washington. Requirements

  • 1+ years of education or experience in NDI (non-destructive inspection) or NDT (non-destructive test).
  • Ability to work variable shifts, overtime, and occasional weekends if necessary.
  • Ability to travel 15% of the time.
  • Ability to work in confined spaces and fit through a 10X18 oval opening.
  • Ability to provide training records and work history for NDT disciplines.
  • This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. "U.S. Person" includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Nice To Haves

  • Recently held in the last 12 months NDT Level 2 certifications, in compliance with NAS410, for Ultrasonic and/or Eddy Current and/or Radiography.
  • 1+ years' experience with aerospace Non-Destructive Testing.
  • Experience performing Non-Destructive Testing on composite repairs (manual and/or C-Scan).

Responsibilities

  • Performs setup for specialized non-destructive test or measurement equipment to controlled standards.
  • Assists in the documentation of procedures for setting up test equipment.
  • Analyzes routine test, inspection or statistical data to determine product acceptance and processes conformity.
  • Assists with standard corrective action recommendations.
  • Documents and communicates standard test, analysis or measurement results.
  • Reports potential adverse trends or anomalous results.
