The NDT Quality Specialist III performs NDT and Welding Inspections, checks, tests, and sampling procedures of incoming materials, parts and components used in the manufacture and fabrication of partially assembled or finished components. Experienced-level position - demonstrates the skills and knowledge to set up and calibrate equipment, to conduct tests, and to interpret, evaluate, and document results with respect to applicable codes, standards and specifications in accordance with procedures. The Specialist III shall be thoroughly familiar with the scope and limitations of the method for which qualified and should exercise assigned responsibility for on the job training and guidance of NDT Level I personnel. The Specialist III shall be able to organize and report nondestructive test results.
