About The Position

Overview Element Materials Technology - Rancho Dominguez is seeking an experienced NDT Level III to lead and oversee testing programs supporting aerospace manufacturing and inspection operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical knowledge, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work flexibly to support operational and customer needs. Salary: $80,000 - $105,000/yr DOE Responsibilities Develop, review, and approve NDT procedures, techniques, and work instructions. Maintain and administer the company NDT Written Practice Train, examine, and certify Level I and Level II NDT personnel in accordance with NAS 410 Administer written, practical, and vision examinations Maintain certification and training records Provide technical guidance and oversight for penetrant inspection activities Evaluate inspection techniques for aerospace components and assemblies Support troubleshooting and resolution of inspection issues Identify opportunities to improve inspection processes and technologies Support Lean and continuous improvement initiatives Skills / Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Materials Science, or related technical field preferred Certified NDT Level III in accordance with NAS 410 or ASNT SNT-TC-1A (required) ASNT Level III certification preferred Minimum 5+ years of NDT experience, preferably in aerospace manufacturing or maintenance. 10+ years functioning as a Level III preferred Experience working within AS9100-certified environments Demonstrated experience supporting aerospace OEM or prime contractor program Diversity Statement At Element, we always take pride in putting our people first. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Certified NDT Level III in accordance with NAS 410 or ASNT SNT-TC-1A (required)
  • Minimum 5+ years of NDT experience, preferably in aerospace manufacturing or maintenance.
  • Experience working within AS9100-certified environments
  • Demonstrated experience supporting aerospace OEM or prime contractor program

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Materials Science, or related technical field preferred
  • ASNT Level III certification preferred
  • 10+ years functioning as a Level III preferred
