About The Position

Element has an opportunity for a NDT II - Fluorescent Penetrant Inspector (1st shift) to perform Liquid Penetrant Testing using specific techniques on aerospace products. Uses knowledge of products, manufacturing processes, equipment set-up, and NDT methods to process parts for inspection following specific operating procedures. Interprets and evaluates test results
Salary: $20- $25/hr DOE

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions, data and details furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
• Must meet DOT background check and medical requirements including drug screening

Responsibilities

• Set-up, operate, calibrate, and perform process control checks on NDT (Liquid Penetrant Test) equipment by following established instructions and record results
• Review procedures, specifications, drawings and other instructions for completeness with procedures and technical instructions to evaluate for welding, machining, etc.
• Interpret, evaluate, and report evaluation results as required
