About The Position
COURSE DESCRIPTION: Welding Safety (29101): Covers safety equipment, protective clothing, and procedures applicable to the cutting and welding of metals. Reading Welding Detail Drawings (29202): Identifies and explains welding detail drawings. Describes lines, fills, object views, and dimensioning on drawings. Explains how to use notes on drawings and the bills of materials. SMAW Electrodes (29108): Describes the SMAW electrode classification system and how to select the proper electrode for the task. Explains how to select electrodes and describe their proper care, handling, and storage. NCCER Structural Welding, Morning Class 14 Week Class: April 27, 2026 - July 30, 2026 8:00AM to 12:00PM Monday - Thursday Class will be held at: Maritime Training Center 360 Addsco Road Mobile, Alabama
