About The Position
COURSE DESCRIPTION: Welding Safety (29101): Covers safety equipment, protective clothing, and procedures applicable to the cutting and welding of metals. Reading Welding Detail Drawings (29202): Identifies and explains welding detail drawings. Describes lines, fills, object views, and dimensioning on drawings. Explains how to use notes on drawings and the bills of materials. SMAW Electrodes (29108): Describes the SMAW electrode classification system and how to select the proper electrode for the task. Explains how to select electrodes and describe their proper care, handling, and storage. NCCER Structural Welding, Night Class Starting April 27, 2026 14 Week Class: April 27 - July 30, 2026 6:00PM to 10:00PM Monday - Thursday Class will be held at: Maritime Training Center 360 Addsco Road Mobile, Alabama Note: This class does not provide enough training to secure employment.
