Austin Industrial is currently seeking a Pipefitter Foreman to join our staff located at Pasadena, TX . This person must be experienced in crew supervision, scheduling, equipment oversight, and ensuring safety compliance.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of the plant and area to provide expectations to crews working on assets.
  • Good communication, organizational and supervisory skills are essential.
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 5+ years of previous supervisory experience as a NCCER Pipefitter Foreman in pipefitting and in industrial construction.
  • NCCER Piping General Foreman Certification required
  • Valid Driver's License required
  • Valid TWIC card required
  • Regular, reliable attendance
  • Perform work safely and effectively.
  • Understand and follow oral and written instructions, including warning signs, equipment use, and other policies.
  • Meet physical demands as listed above

Responsibilities

  • Supervise crews installing, maintaining, and repairing high-pressure piping systems, ensuring strict adherence to safety (OSHA) and quality standards
  • Manage daily work schedules, performing field take-offs, coordinating material resources, inspecting welds/systems, and overseeing hydrotesting.
  • Train personnel, manage costs, and report to superintendents.
  • Manage a crew of pipefitters, assigning tasks, training personnel, and resolving technical issues.
  • Assigns workers to specific duties.
  • Inspects completed processing systems to determine conformance to specifications.
