Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Naval Architecture or Ocean Engineering
Ten or more years experience in U.S. Navy ship design and engineering.
Five or more years experience supporting a U.S. Navy program office.
Strong organization and time management skills.
Good interpersonal skills to work with project teams and stakeholders.
Must be a US citizen and have ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
Skills in Microsoft Office
Good written and verbal (English) communication skills.

Nice To Haves

Experience with U.S. Navy surface combatants.

Responsibilities

Develop and analyze new ships and ship system concepts.
Manage the overall schedule, risk, and resource management for integrated product teams.
Prepare budgets and schedules to support overall acquisition schedule for U.S. Navy ships.
Provide technical and planning support to U.S. Navy program office to meet program milestones and mitigate risk.
Work with program Technical Director to plan and direct work required to resolve technical issues.
