Must enjoy and knowledge of nature and the outdoors and a strong desire to help young children learn about the world and the environment. Energetic and comfortable spending extended periods of time outdoors, in all seasons and in all kinds of safe weather conditions. Comfortable engaging in nature, getting dirty and being with and/or near all types of animals (insects, reptiles, small mammals, birds, etc.). Other job duties are to provide a safe, stimulating, developmentally appropriate learning environment for children 3-5 years of age and to give children the opportunity to develop social-emotional, language, intellectual and physical skills.
