About The Position
The Natural Resources Specialist I will review and evaluate Public Water Systems ( PWS ) data related to the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality ( TCEQ ) Ground Water, Revised Total Coliform, Chemical, Surface Water, and Public Notice (PN) rules. Essential Duties And Responsibilities Research noncompliance allegations and prepare specific materials to support routine enforcement actions. Monitor ordering provisions and compliance schedules for formal enforcement actions. Interact with respondents to encourage compliance, settle enforcement actions, communicate case status, and provide technical assistance. Maintain data to track case progress from assignment to closure. Assist with and/or complete special projects. Perform other duties assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with one (1) year experience in data analysis, environmental quality management, public utilities, business administration, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be substituted as appropriate.

- Experience in the field of environmental and/or paralegal activities.
- Experience managing tasks strategically.
