About The Position

The National Specialty Lending department focuses on providing consumer lending products and services to customers nationwide. Lending products and services include Collector Cars, Manufactured Housing, Powersport and other indirect lending products. The team works with Dealers across the nation to provide competitive lending for consumers. Internal functions include sales, customer service, collections, underwriting and business analytics. The NSL intern will work closely with the business analytics team to pull data from lending systems and create reports to support business operations. The reporting provides important content to support business decisions. This role will provide the intern with an inside look at business operations that drive results.

Requirements

  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent and be in pursuit of an undergraduate college degree, as follows:
  • Currently enrolled in college; or
  • Enrolled in college for Fall 2026; or
  • College graduate between May 2025 – June 2026
  • Must have reliable transportation and be able to work onsite. Onsite locations depend on the department. Common onsite locations include Downers Grove, Oakbrook, Aurora and Chicago-Wacker.
  • Must be available to work 20-40 hours per week and be available to start late May/early June through the end of July/early August.
  • Internship durations vary between 8 – 12 weeks.
  • Proficient in using Window 2010 Office software with intermediate skills in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment; prioritizing work and multi-tasking.
  • Desire to work in a professional environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in report creation, maintenance, and publication
  • Assist with aggregating data sources for operational reporting
  • Assist in developing and creating operational productivity based upon the business owners’ requirements
  • Assist with updating tables, charts, and charts in reporting packages
  • Assist in portfolio analysis in support of the origination and collection strategies
  • Assist in creating config files to support the OEM monthly rate promotion process
  • Other Duties as assigned
