Please visit allstategoodlife.com to review specific benefits information Role Overview: AIP is expanding its West Territory and seeking motivated, experienced sales professionals with experience in employee benefits selling to manage the end-to-end sales for our Identity Theft Protection services, offered as a voluntary benefit through brokers. Reports to VP, Sales Territories Assigned: Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming Travel: May be as high as 2 to 3 weeks out of the month visiting brokers, clients, special events and Allstate Identity Protection corporate headquarters in Scottsdale, AZ Supervisory Responsibility: No, this is an Individual Contributor role

Requirements

  • Prior and proven experience in selling voluntary benefits while possessing effective broker equity
  • High School Diploma and at least five to 10+ years of strategic selling experience in direct B2B sales or indirect channel development.
  • Proven track record of top-tier revenue generation in prior roles
  • Intermediate to advanced skills with MS Office, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Salesforce (or similar program)
  • Experience with Web based applications and communication/ networking platforms
  • Presentation Skills: Via web, phone and in person
  • Proficiency in using Sales CRM like Salesforce
  • Excellent written, spoken, listening, and critical analysis skills
  • Commitment to cold calling, following up with clients, demonstrated ability to multi-task and manage conflicting priorities without impacting deadlines, plan and execute with minimal supervision, strong work ethic, exceptional integrity
  • Ability to interact with a wide variety of behavioral and personality styles effectively and make all feel comfortable, internally, and externally
  • Able to tackle new assignments and wear multiple hats, advocating on behalf of client and Allstate Identity Protection simultaneously

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage relationships and pipelines, promoting and representing AIP’s brand image and services to prospective brokers, consultants, and employer groups within assigned target brokers.
  • Develop, manage, and perform to meet EPS (Employee Protection Solutions) revenue goals within the West territory and across pre-determined national broker and consultant relationships.
  • As a target account owner, partner with Broker & Consultant Relations to internally operationalize relationships, socialize and communicate best practices to EPS stakeholders and manage accountability with sales team.
  • May also be responsible for running an assigned target account or accounts.
  • As a target account owner, you will collaborate with Sales Leadership on sales strategy and tactics; spot issues early on, manage short term versus long term priorities, help position organization’s value prop in market, overcome channel challenges, identify root issues in the sales process, for assigned target account(s).
  • Partner with internal operations leadership when necessary to ensure a seamless experience for key national accounts and connect internal SMEs with national account counterparts.
  • Support effective utilization of EPS leadership, implementation and account management team resources including proposal documents, product materials, ecosystem agreements, etc. for successful front-end sales process.
  • Actively prepare, participate, and assist in the closing of finalist meetings within own regional territory and, if needed, for key national brokerage and consultant prospects.
  • Coordinate with internal departments for the education and training of assigned national accounts, consultants (phone, in-person, webinar).
  • Utilize Salesforce CRM to track opportunity status and revenue projections through the sales process, start to finish. This includes creating personal reports to quantify data. This also includes Target Account updates.
  • Work closely with AIP’s Operations and Marketing/Communication teams to meet client communication requirements and ensure successful project completion
  • Maintain monthly expense reports.
