About The Position

The National Key Account Manager (NKAM) for KERR will develop and grow the West Zone’s strategic institutional accounts, which includes Dental - Schools, Universities and Government Accounts. This role identifies opportunities for account growth and executes appropriate sales strategies by leveraging a broad product portfolio. As appropriate, the NKAM can lead an internal team without direct authority in support of sales objectives. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years of successful B2B sales experience in lieu of education
  • 4+ years of successful B2B sales experience
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
  • Must live in Western United States- preferably Seattle, San Francisco, Portland, Denver, San Diego, Boise, Las Vegas, Phoenix or Los Angeles and within reasonable commuting distance to a major airport.
  • Ability to make decisions with consideration to business impact (Strategic)
  • Proven track record in developing long-term relationships with key accounts including decision makers and influencers
  • Capability to handle the complex sales process and finalize the deals (Sales competence)
  • Solution sales experience with a successful track record (Sales Skills)
  • Strong technical skills, able to digest and verbalize highly technical product and clinical information (Technical Aptitude)
  • Effective planning and prioritization (Organizational Skills)

Responsibilities

  • Strong account management experience and strategic account planning to effectively penetrate accounts, develop an understanding of their needs, and secure profitable new business to meet quota.
  • Build advocacy with dealer partners to drive customer acquisition and growth in existing accounts.
  • Use CRM to properly manage sales opportunities within the territory.
  • Stay informed on products, technologies, and competitive activity to support sales and marketing efforts.
  • Manage assigned geographical territory within allocated expense budget.
  • Participate in local trade shows and company meetings as appropriate.
