About The Position

We grow the world’s BEST Strawberries & that wouldn’t be possible without our Commercial Team! We are seeking a National Field Sales & Marketing Specialist to drive growth in high-priority and under-resourced regions. This role supports national expansion by launching new markets, strengthening retail and restaurant partnerships, reinforcing brand standards, and elevating in-field execution across territories. With up to 90% travel, this position partners cross-functionally with Sales, Field, and Brand Marketing and reports to the Senior Manager of Field Sales & Marketing.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent
  • 4+ years of progressive field sales and/or marketing management experience with a track record of success, ideally within CPG, Grocery or related industries
  • Must be capable of standing, walking, and working on feet for prolonged periods
  • Must be able to lift 40 pounds as the role may require moving promotional equipment and restocking merchandise
  • Willing and able to travel 90% of the time to support new marketings, train new Regional Sales Managers and support field activations weekly.
  • Valid US driver’s license required and have a reliable vehicle you are willing to use to travel in the assigned region.

Responsibilities

  • Travel to new regions to cover and launch new markets through retail and restaurant partnership development, demos, field events, and store visits.
  • Carve out shelf space and train store teams on the product, brand, and merchandising standards.
  • Travel to regions with low staffing and support ongoing execution by assisting with store visits, demos, field events, and relevant reporting.
  • Align Sales Managers and District Sales Associates to brand and HQ standards in-field, ensuring alignment with HQ expectations.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Manager of Field Marketing and Sales on event planning and execution for all regions, including research, asset management, run-of-shows, event execution, and post-event analysis.
  • Assist the Senior Manager in overseeing and coordinating third-party demo execution in new or understaffed regions.
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with key retail personnel to: Identify and escalate inventory, distribution, and pricing issues. Ensure all accounts meet Oishii’s merchandising and quality standards. Cultivate brand “loyalists” among retail staff who actively promote Oishii in-store.
  • Support oversight of part-time District Sales Associates and third-party merchandising and demo partners to maintain excellence in-store.
  • Serve as the Face of the Brand during travel assignments by exemplifying field leadership, execution excellence, and cross-functional communication.
  • Travel frequently (90%+) to support markets, including weekend activations as needed.
  • Assist in identifying and developing partnership and event opportunities in all markets to drive brand awareness and trial.
