About The Position

The National Escrow Officer must possess the ability to effectively manage complex residential, builder and/or commercial real estate transactions. Combining closing and title knowledge, this position is responsible for managing all aspects of escrow on National Residential, Builder, and Commercial transactions that would consist of both single-site and multi-site / multi-state transactions. The Escrow Officer must exercise independent judgment and possess the knowledge and experience necessary to efficiently handle any situation which may arise during the escrow and closing process. LOCATION This position is located at our downtown Denver office.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3+ years Escrow Experience (Residential/Builder/Commercial a plus)
  • Proficient in standard concepts, practices, and procedures as it relates to national escrow/title industry
  • Exceptional verbal/written communication, organizational, problem-solving capability and analytical skills
  • Must be self-starter with ability to work independently
  • Ability to calculate figures, interest, commissions, proration’s, rents, and escrow/title fees

Nice To Haves

  • Valid State Producer’s License
  • SoftPro experience
  • Intermediate to advanced MS Excel skills

Responsibilities

  • Maintain strong and accurate attention to detail along with strong ability to prioritize and multi-task in a highly productive manner.
  • Utilize understanding of local laws and customs across the country as it relates to escrow, title standards and company underwriting guidelines associated with a wide variety of transactions.
  • Work directly with clients, realtors, lenders, and attorneys as it relates to the escrow function of the transaction.
  • Maintain escrow records and files in accordance with company guidelines
  • Ability to review titles and recognize title requirements and formulate curative solutions as needed
  • Possess knowledge of legal documents with ability to analyze and evaluate documents as it relates to escrow.
  • Prepare the appropriate escrow documentation in accordance with policy and procedures and applicable statutory and Federal regulations.
  • Perform with teamwork mindset and close customer relations of both title staff and customers to produce positive solutions and meet closing timelines and requirements.
  • Maintain collaboration across organizational boundaries that enable success within cross functional processes
