About The Position

The National Business Development Manager is responsible for driving market penetration and revenue growth by establishing and managing a nationwide distributor network. This role focuses on strategic business development, relationship management, and execution of sales initiatives to position Dumawall as a leading solution in bathroom renovation and related markets. This position operates at a national level, requiring extensive travel (up to 80%) to engage distributors, attend trade shows, and support market development initiatives. The role encompasses strategic planning, distributor onboarding, training, and performance management, as well as collaboration with internal teams such as marketing, operations, and technical support.

Requirements

  • Associate degree or equivalent experience in sales or business administration.
  • Proven track record (7+ years) in business development or sales leadership within plumbing supply distribution or related industries.
  • Established national relationships with distributors, showrooms, or renovation channel partners.
  • History of successfully launching a new product line and scaling market adoption.
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and strategic planning skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

  • Establish a national distributor network for Dumawall by leveraging existing industry relationships.
  • Travel extensively (up to 80%) to meet, enroll, and onboard distributors in key markets.
  • Lead strategic outreach to major bathroom renovation players and coordinate pilot or flagship projects through distributor partners.
  • Drive ongoing sales growth within the established network through training, support, and performance tracking.
  • Identify new business opportunities—projects, spec opportunities, commercial or residential developments—and direct them to distributors for evaluation and execution.
