About The Position
The National Billing Manager at CEVA Logistics will oversee all aspects of the billing operations to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and excellent communication skills to effectively manage a team and collaborate with various departments. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing the billing department, ensuring high levels of performance and employee engagement. They will develop and implement strategies to improve billing processes, reduce errors, and enhance operational efficiency while mentoring and training billing staff to foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development. In terms of billing operations, the National Billing Manager will oversee the preparation and issuance of invoices in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring that all billing activities comply with contract terms, company policies, and regulatory requirements. They will also develop and maintain a robust billing system, including automation and integration with other financial systems. Financial management is another key aspect of this role, where the manager will monitor billing metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends and areas for improvement, collaborate with the finance team to reconcile billing with accounts receivable, and assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting related to billing operations. Customer relations are crucial, as the manager will work closely with customer service and sales teams to resolve billing disputes and inquiries promptly, maintaining strong relationships with key clients and addressing their billing concerns to ensure satisfaction. Compliance and risk management will also be a focus, ensuring adherence to all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, developing internal controls to mitigate billing errors and fraud, and conducting regular audits of billing processes and systems. Additionally, the National Billing Manager will lead or participate in cross-functional projects to enhance billing processes, systems, and technologies, staying abreast of industry trends and best practices to recommend and implement innovative billing solutions.
