About The Position

Trucker Path is seeking a National Advertising Business Development Representative to identify and solicit advertising clients targeting the trucking industry and, more specifically, professional drivers themselves. This is a sales development position that entails prospecting potential advertisers and generating interest for companies to advertise directly on the Trucker Path app. To be successful, the National Advertising Business Development Representative must be able to convey the many tangible reasons why advertising with Trucker Path will be of benefit to advertising clients’ businesses.

Requirements

  • Experience in sales prospecting and tele-sales
  • Self-starter who takes initiative, and acts with a high level of accountability
  • Outgoing, upbeat and positive, with strong interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software(s) including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, & Teams
  • Team-player mindset and willingness to collaborate
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal

Nice To Haves

  • Trucking Technology or Transportation Industry experience a plus

Responsibilities

  • Scout for potential clients and introduce them to Trucker Path’s National Advertising services
  • Explain the benefits of advertising on the Trucker Path platform to clients
  • Schedule appointments with clients to discuss new, in-depth advertising proposals
  • Assist with preparing advertising presentations to new and existing clients
  • Send proofs of materials for advertising to clients and work with them to gain final approval
  • Assist with ad performance statistics and preparing reports for clients’ advertising accounts
  • Coordinate inter-departmental efforts to serve advertising clients effectively
  • Some travel may be required
