We’re looking for a driven National Account Manager to join our Account Management team. The National Account Manager owns day-to-day growth for a portfolio of brands at Walmart Inc. Acting as the primary client partner and key liaison to Walmart Inc. merchants, this role builds strategic plans, drives execution, and delivers sales and profit targets while aligning with New Nexus Group’s core values and business objectives. Requirements

  • Ability to effectively learn and leverage retailer data analytics systems such as Scintilla, MADRID, Retail Link, and syndicated data (Circana, and Nielsen)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong Executive presence demonstrated by the following
  • Experienced in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and ability to use tools effectively

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working directly for Walmart or Sam’s Club preferred
  • Experience working on the vendor side calling on Walmart or Sam’s Club or other top national retailer preferred

Responsibilities

  • Client Relationship Management - Serve as the primary partner for assigned brands to align business objectives with Walmart merchants, hold routine strategy reviews, and strengthen partnerships through proactive problem-solving.
  • Sales Planning & Execution - Build and manage annual forecasts, trade budgets, and profitability metrics, Leading item setup, launches, modular resets, and promotions from pitch to shelf while coordinating cross-functional teams.
  • Client Business Growth - Identify growth opportunities and guide new brands through Walmart entry and grow NNG’s client portfolio via networking and industry events.
  • Data Analysis & Category Insights - Leverage Retail Link, Luminate/Scintilla, and Circana data to track performance, spot trends, and uncover price gaps and package insights into clear, actionable updates for clients, merchants, and leadership.
