About The Position

The National Account Manager is responsible for partnering with assigned accounts to present the unique offerings of Tauck, aiming to enhance revenue growth and guest satisfaction. This role combines strategic thinking with relationship-building skills to drive the company's growth and success, ensuring that partners are well-equipped to succeed in the competitive travel industry.

Requirements

  • BA or equivalent with a successful record in travel sales.
  • 5+ years of Territory Management experience.
  • Thorough knowledge of Tauck products and services preferred.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills for developing partnerships.
  • Excellent communication skills for presentations and brand messaging.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and computer systems.
  • Sound analytical and financial skills for resource utilization.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in the travel industry is a plus.
  • Familiarity with analytics and data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate Tauck brand values passionately through presentations.
  • Guide agents and consumers on the differences between Tauck and competitors.
  • Align activities with Tauck's overall strategy and brand plans.
  • Present Tauck Master Brand and sub-brands to agents and consumers.
  • Represent Tauck in the community and trade organizations.
  • Understand market trends and proactively adjust strategies to drive results.
  • Partner with internal strategy teams to maximize opportunities.
  • Establish SMART goals with individual accounts based on unique opportunities.
  • Advocate for accounts to strengthen relationships with Tauck.
  • Recognize and reward outstanding account performance.
  • Coach underperforming accounts and provide necessary training.
  • Negotiate partnerships to align with Tauck's goals.
  • Gather and share market and competitor information from agents and guests.
  • Utilize sales tools effectively to maximize territory coverage and support.
  • Participate in agency and industry events to enhance conversion rates.
  • Identify high ROI outreach and marketing opportunities.
  • Develop baseline market share metrics with accounts.
  • Establish multiyear business plans to drive market share increases.
  • Manage territory budget and track ROI of account investments.
