About The Position

Spectrum Brands' Home & Personal Care (HPC) Appliances business is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented sales professional to develop and implement sales strategies for our well-known brands, including George Foreman, Black+Decker, Farberware, and Remington. This position will focus on both existing and potential new business with retailers, ensuring that our innovative products meet consumer trends for healthy living and personal care. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating annual quotas, profit plans, and sales action plans, while continuously monitoring actual results against these plans throughout the year. Adjustments will be made as necessary to ensure targets are met. In this role, you will conduct business reviews of accounts and present findings to management, developing account-specific promotional plans in coordination with finance, trade marketing, and sales management. You will leverage your knowledge of customer needs and market trends to recommend opportunities for increased penetration and growth. Establishing and maintaining effective relationships with account contacts is crucial, as you will handle inquiries, complaints, and service programs, acting as a liaison between customers and various internal functions. Your responsibilities will also include forecasting and collaborating with cross-functional teams to align on supply controls. Utilizing insight selling skills, you will develop and present programs that not only drive growth for Remington and Home Appliances but also support overall retailer growth. You will lead customer meetings and trade conferences, ensuring that you meet volume growth and market penetration objectives. This position requires a high level of technical aptitude to translate product concepts into compelling benefits for our portfolio of accounts, relying on your extensive experience and judgment to achieve goals.
