Requirements

  • 5+ years of sales experience in business development, sales, or a similar role, preferably within government contracting or large institutional sales.
  • Experience with FOI requests and interpreting government feedback.
  • Knowledge of local, state, and federal government contracting procedures.
  • Familiarity with the specific needs and procurement processes of large institutions.
  • Strong understanding of government procurement processes and regulations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook.
  • Proficient in utilizing bid sites.
  • Familiarity with CRM software (HubSpot) or similar tools for maintaining customer records.
  • Must maintain a clean driving record, driver license, and insurance.
  • Reliable and presentable transportation.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Proven track record in building and leveraging professional networks both in-person and virtually to generate leads.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable in social settings.

Responsibilities

  • Focus on securing contracts with local, state, and federal government agencies, as well as large institutions.
  • Conduct extensive research and strategic relationship building.
  • Develop proposals and continuously improve bid responses.
  • Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships.
  • Engage with key stakeholders and collaborate with internal teams.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospect identification to contract execution.
  • Identify high-value institutions in Healthcare, Hospitality, and other verticals.
  • Conduct regular searches on bid sites for opportunities.
  • Engage with prime contractors for subcontracting opportunities.
  • Position Ace Relocation as a trusted partner in the commercial projects sector.
