Requirements

  • Digital fluency — Understanding of digital advertising channels (sponsorships, branded content, display, video, etc.).
  • Preferred experience — 1-2 years in digital media, advertising, or marketing — ideally from an agency, brand, or media publisher side.
  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and minimum liability insurance as required by law.
  • Strong business acumen.
  • Able to communicate at an executive level.
  • Effective organization, time management and writing and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify and reach out to new business prospects across various industries.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified leads.
  • Drive digital advertising sales, while meeting and exceeding all sales goals.
  • Focus on identified client direct and named agencies driving performance media solutions.
  • Work as a partner to help clients reach their goals and initiatives.
  • Manage, renew and up-sell existing clients, ensure client's KPIs are achieved.
  • Partner with Client Solutions & Account Management to prepare proposals and ensure that client's KPIs/needs are met.
  • Stay current on online advertising trends and innovations.
  • Receive coaching and feedback with an open mind, applying it quickly to your sales approach.
  • Participate and represent USA TODAY NETWORK and LocaliQ at local industry events.
