About The Position

Are you a proactive, seasoned caregiver who thrives in a home environment? We are seeking a mature, self-motivated nanny to care for two children: a 3-year-old boy (on the autism spectrum) and an 8-month-old girl.
This position is managed through Jovie, meaning you will have the support of a professional agency, a steady W-2 paycheck, and a clear line of communication. The family is looking for a long-term fit who brings a high level of maturity and initiative to the role.

Requirements

• Maturity & Experience: The family is specifically seeking a caregiver with a high level of professional maturity.
• Self-Starter: You are "self-motivated" and don’t require a constant to-do list; you take pride in maintaining a smooth-running environment.
• Reliable Driver: Must have a clean driving record and a safe, reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Safe Transportation: Responsible for school drop-off and pick-up for the 3-year-old (approx. 12 miles each way). The infant will accompany you on these trips.
• Specialized Care: Preparing thickened formula for the 8-month-old (medical requirement) and providing patient, engaging care for the 3-year-old.
• Proactive Household Support: Managing child-related tasks including laundry, washing bottles, and keeping play areas tidy.
• Meal Prep: Feeding the older child after school (no heavy cooking required).
• Family Dynamics: Comfortably working in a home where grandparents visit frequently and may stay for several weeks at a time.
