PORT ST. LUCIE, FL (NATIONWIDE SEARCH) - A close-knit, conservative, and Christian faith-centered family is seeking an experienced Rotational Nanny/Household Manager to partner with them in caring for their four children, ages 8, 6, nearly 3, and 8 months. This is a long-term role for a warm, dependable, highly capable professional who is aligned with the family’s Christian values and excited to become a trusted, steady presence in their children’s lives. The family resides primarily in Port St. Lucie, Florida, and spends June through August at their home on the New Jersey Shore, with additional travel throughout the year for holidays and family gatherings. The position operates on a two-weeks-on / two-weeks-off rotation. During working weeks, hours are 8:00 AM–9:00 PM, Saturday through Friday, with a one-hour daily break. Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day are guaranteed off; other holidays may be worked depending on the family’s travel schedule. Flexibility is essential, as the family’s lifestyle includes travel and evolving needs. Dad owns and operates an addiction treatment business with long hours and occasional travel, making reliability, adaptability, and strong communication especially important. This role is a true blend of childcare and household management, not a childcare-only position. Mom is a stay-at-home parent and homeschool educator, and the nanny will work closely alongside her—sometimes caring for all four children, and at other times focusing more heavily on household responsibilities to allow Mom dedicated one-on-one time with individual children or space to manage other obligations. The children are inquisitive, affectionate, energetic, and deeply relational, and the family values a gentle, reasoning-based, non-punitive approach to care. Household responsibilities are a significant component of the role. While a separate housekeeper handles deep cleaning, the nanny/household manager is responsible for the daily organization and reset of the home, including dishes and kitchen resets, laundry (washing, stain treatment, folding, and proper put-away), sweeping and mopping floors, maintaining clutter-free surfaces, organizing toys and supplies, putting away groceries and deliveries, sorting mail, taking out trash, and coordinating household vendors when needed. The home is expected to be fully reset and functioning smoothly at the end of each day. This role is best suited for someone who is systems-oriented, efficient, proactive, and calm under pressure. The ideal candidate is thoughtful, discreet, and able to anticipate needs while maintaining clear professional boundaries and respecting the culture of the home. Strong judgment, adaptability, and the ability to operate with minimal direction are essential. The family has extensive experience employing nannies and values long-term relationships. They are committed, consistent employers who invest deeply in caregivers who align well with their home and values. They are seeking someone warm and relational with children, highly organized, respectful of parental authority, and confident in navigating a busy, values-driven household with professionalism and care. Compensation is $100k+ gross annually via payroll. Benefits include PTO + Sick Days + potential health insurance stipend TBD for the perfect candidate. The family is open to flying candidates in and out!
