About The Position

Dream Nannies is seeking an experienced and confident Nanny Manager for a bright and energetic 5-year-old boy in Smyrna. This is a long-term role for a nurturing professional who enjoys helping children grow developmentally, emotionally, and academically through hands-on, engaging care. The ideal nanny is creative, patient, and fun while also being firm and consistent. He thrives with active play, outdoor time, puzzles, books, art projects, and hands-on learning. He participates in jiu-jitsu and tennis and is not a screen-focused child, so finding creative ways to keep him active and engaged is essential. A teaching or educational background is strongly preferred, as this role includes supporting school readiness, motor skills, independence, and age-appropriate structure. The mother travels frequently for work and has extended periods at home throughout the year. During travel periods, the nanny will take the lead in childcare and household flow, while home periods are more collaborative. Flexibility is important, as schedules may shift. A valid passport is required for occasional travel. In addition to childcare, responsibilities include school and activity transportation, meal prep and light cooking, child-related laundry, light housekeeping, grocery shopping, errands, home organization, and assisting with family dogs. Weekly professional cleaners are provided. The child has seasonal allergies and allergy-induced asthma, and the family has systems in place. The schedule is typically Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00/7:00 PM, with flexibility as needed. This is a live-in partially position with private accommodations provided when family travels. Compensation is $70,000–$80,000 annually, based on experience.
