About The Position

Namify is a company focused on fostering belonging, with over 20 years of experience partnering with businesses to enhance recognition programs, corporate gifting, branding, and employee engagement. They are revolutionizing the swag industry through automation and sustainable practices, aiming to create more happiness in the workplace. The Nametag Line Manager position is responsible for overseeing the workflow of orders from processing to timely client delivery. This role specifically manages all Nametag production lines, including full color, laser, and rotary.

Requirements

  • Must have proper documentation for employment in the United States
  • Must perform Pre-Employment drug test
  • 1+ years of Production Manager experience
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with all levels of employee
  • Must have great attention to detail, even with repetitive processes
  • Must be able to follow instructions, both written and verbal
  • Must be able to work under deadlines and quotas
  • Be able to work in a team environment and alone
  • Must be a problem-solver and look for out-of-the-box solutions
  • Must be process driven, challenge the status quo, and always looking for efficiencies and improvements
  • High School diploma.
  • Minimum of 18 years of age.
  • Ability to work with computers and tablets.

Responsibilities

  • Master alias flow of orders and their relationship to other departments.
  • Conduct inventory counts, maintain a well-stocked department, and partner with Purchasing to place orders as necessary.
  • Solve issues pertaining to the team, equipment, process, and workload.
  • Motivate team to ensure high performance and effective time management.
  • Run all machines and actively work to fine-tune processes.
  • Oversee machine operators and processors, manage reports to reduce corrected orders, and issue Improvement Plans as needed.
  • Communicate and coordinate effectively with sales reps.
  • Develop content for and lead daily morning meetings, participate in weekly production management meetings, and prepare for monthly meetings with the Director of Operations.
  • Ensure orders are moved at the end of the day.
  • Manage schedules effectively to ensure orders are completed in a timely manner.
  • Oversee training and cross-training.
  • Supervise processing of volume orders.
  • Hold team accountable to quality and speed requirements.
  • Provide excellent quality and fast service to customers.
  • Pursue continued education on topics directly relating to the department.
  • Assist with occasional piecework/processing jobs as needed.
  • Ensure employees are abiding by safety guidelines and using appropriate PPE at all times.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
