About The Position

We are seeking a strategic and relationship-driven Named Account Executive to manage and grow a portfolio of enterprise accounts within the technology sector. This role focuses on building deep, long-term relationships with key stakeholders, understanding their business needs, and driving expansion through consultative selling. The ideal candidate will partner with cross-functional teams, including Customer Success, Sales Engineering, and Professional Services, to deliver tailored solutions that maximize value for clients. Success in this role means driving measurable account growth, retaining existing business, and establishing yourself as a trusted advisor to engineering leadership. The position requires exceptional account planning, multi-threading into complex organizations, and navigating multi-stakeholder environments. This role is fully remote but requires candidates to be based on the U.S. East Coast.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of B2B SaaS sales experience with a focus on account management, renewals, and expansion.
  • Proven track record of retaining and growing enterprise accounts.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain executive-level relationships (VP+).
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally with CSM, Sales Engineering, Support, and Professional Services teams.
  • Strong account planning, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable navigating complex, multi-stakeholder environments.

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred experience selling to developers or engineering teams, and familiarity with developer tools, code search, CI/CD, or DevOps concepts.
  • Knowledge of consumption-based or usage-based pricing models and sales methodologies like MEDDPICC is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Own a portfolio of named accounts, driving expansion and retention revenue within existing customers.
  • Develop and nurture executive-level relationships to position yourself as a trusted advisor.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (CSM, Sales Engineering, Support, Professional Services) to execute account strategies and deliver value.
  • Conduct strategic account planning and identify growth opportunities across business units.
  • Deliver compelling presentations and solutions to technical and executive audiences.
  • Establish repeatable playbooks for multi-threading into new teams within existing accounts.
  • Consistently meet or exceed retention and expansion targets.
  • Mentor and contribute to refining account management processes for future hires as the team scales.
