About The Position

The Varsity Yearbook Operations team, based in Edwardsville, KS is looking for a Manufacturing Associates to join our Bindery team. As a member of the Yearbook Bindery Production Team, you will operate equipment at established speed, using established methods to produce binding, meeting customers reasonable expectations. Maintain good working relationship with lead person and fellow workers Communicate with all employees including other shifts Maintain clean and organized work environment Assists in other areas as work backlogs dictate Practice policies regarding safety and personnel/benefit issues Follows all verbal instructions of Bindery Supervisor and machine operator. Requirements

1-3 months of experience in a high production manufacturing environment which focuses on safety, quality control, and organization
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English.
Ability to write simple correspondence.
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Must be able to work all hours needed, including overtime and weekends.
Basic computer skills.
