SUMMARY:The Primary purpose of this position is to administer nail treatments. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:High School Diploma or General Education (GED) and 1 year related salon experience desired; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Must possess current licenses and certificates for nail technicians as required by the State, County, and City/Town. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Must possess the skills required to be proficient in performing various types of nail services such as manicures, pedicures, polish changes and other services. Stay updated accordingly in the latest developments pertinent to the department and is well versed and trained in their usage. Must attend product knowledge training. Must be CPR certified or become certified within 90 days of employment. Maintain and stock the supplies and treatment areas according to par levels. Perform special projects as required by the Supervisor and/or Assistant Spa Director. Attend formal meetings conducted by Supervisor or ManagerResponsible for maintaining a high level of cleanliness within the entire Spa facility and in all work areas. Promote and sell body products. Represent Pinehurst with a positive, professional image by maintaining a high level of personal hygiene, by dressing in professional attire at all times while on Resort property and by wearing your nametag.Key partner who understands and can utilize the Spa software and computer programs. Must have the ability to work under pressure without letting that pressure show to guests or Employee. Must possess the conflict resolution skills necessary to evaluate product and treatment quality and guests complaints. Must be able to listen, communicate and assess situations with accuracy. Must have a willingness to work and be flexible in work scheduling. Must exhibit energy and enthusiasm for the job and the facility. Must ensure the privacy of each guest.
