About The Position

The Primary purpose of this position is to administer nail treatments.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or General Education (GED)
• Must possess current licenses and certificates for nail technicians as required by the State, County, and City/Town.

Nice To Haves

• 1 year related salon experience desired; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Must possess the skills required to be proficient in performing various types of nail services such as manicures, pedicures, polish changes and other services.
• Stay updated accordingly in the latest developments pertinent to the department and is well versed and trained in their usage.
• Must attend product knowledge training.
• Must be CPR certified or become certified within 90 days of employment.
• Maintain and stock the supplies and treatment areas according to par levels.
• Perform special projects as required by the Supervisor and/or Assistant Spa Director.
• Attend formal meetings conducted by Supervisor or Manager
• Responsible for maintaining a high level of cleanliness within the entire Spa facility and in all work areas.
• Promote and sell body products.
• Represent Pinehurst with a positive, professional image by maintaining a high level of personal hygiene, by dressing in professional attire at all times while on Resort property and by wearing your nametag.
• Key partner who understands and can utilize the Spa software and computer programs.
• Must have the ability to work under pressure without letting that pressure show to guests or Employee.
• Must possess the conflict resolution skills necessary to evaluate product and treatment quality and guests complaints.
• Must be able to listen, communicate and assess situations with accuracy.
• Must have a willingness to work and be flexible in work scheduling.
• Must exhibit energy and enthusiasm for the job and the facility.
• Must ensure the privacy of each guest.
