Job Summary The Nail Technician is responsible for providing high-quality manicure, pedicure, and nail care services to members and guests, while ensuring a relaxing and pleasant spa experience. This role focuses on delivering exceptional service, maintaining a professional spa environment, and upholding hygiene and safety standards.

Requirements

  • A valid nail technician license.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience as a nail technician, in a spa, club, or customer service role.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience with various nail treatments, including gel, shellac, nail art, and extensions.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver nail care services, including manicures, pedicures, and other nail treatments, ensuring a relaxing and satisfying experience for members and guests.
  • Consult with members/guests to understand their preferences, recommend appropriate services, and provide expert advice on nail care and maintenance.
  • Promote spa services, products, and seasonal specials to enhance the member/guest experience and support spa sales.
  • Address any member/guest concerns or complaints promptly, ensuring effective service recovery and satisfaction.
  • Perform a variety of nail treatments, including gel application, nail extensions, and nail art, ensuring precision and adherence to the highest quality standards.
  • Ensure all tools and equipment are properly sanitized between each client, strictly following spa hygiene protocols and state health regulations.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in workstations, treatment rooms, and communal spa areas, replenishing products and supplies as needed.
  • Stay updated on new nail care techniques, products, and industry trends to offer cuttingedge services.
  • Collaborate with other spa professionals, including massage therapists and estheticians, to deliver a cohesive spa experience for all members and guests.
  • Communicate effectively with the spa reception team to manage appointments and ensure smooth service transitions between treatments.
  • Assist in maintaining the overall cleanliness and presentation of the spa by supporting team members with light housekeeping duties, including restocking linens and maintaining relaxation areas.
  • Due to the dynamic nature of the club, employees are expected to assist others as needed and take on additional tasks as assigned by management.
  • Follow all company, club, and department policies, procedures, and instructions.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and a commitment to excellence in interactions with members, colleagues, and staff.
  • Follow safe working practices, ensuring compliance with safety guidelines and encouraging others to do the same.
  • Take the initiative in personal and professional growth and maintain any required certifications relevant to your role.
  • Address and resolve challenges using available resources, working with regional and corporate teams to support club operations.
  • Attend daily briefings and actively engage in required activities to stay informed and contribute to the team’s success.
