About The Position

Primary Focus: Student Care, Equity, & Resource Navigation An extension of the Pathways Internship, this position supports Indigenous student well-being through advocacy, referral, and resource coordination. The Office Manager works directly with the NAC Mentor to assist students experiencing crisis, transition, or barriers to success. The role strengthens visibility of NAC resources and applies professional communication, cultural responsiveness, and holistic support strategies. This Position works directly with the Dual Student Support Manager to Consult and Strategize. Responsibilities

  • Provide peer support and referral for Indigenous students in need.
  • Coordinate with NAC Mentor and Coordinator to connect students to services.
  • Track and promote NAC resources to enhance student visibility and access.
  • Support implementation of equity-based strategies for Indigenous student success.
  • Contribute to the First Fire Program by monitoring participation and engagement.
