About The Position

Reporting directly to the Accounts Payable Manager, this role is responsible for all aspects of North America Accounts Payable. Success in this position requires a strong attention to detail, ownership of responsibilities, and the ability to meet deadlines. The ideal candidate will be an effective collaborator who can also work independently, demonstrate flexibility, and maintain a strong orientation toward customer service and supplier management. The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment is essential. This position will interact professionally and effectively with multiple business and operational groups across the organization.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic accounting knowledge
  • Previous experience in a financial role
  • Experience with Accounts Payable systems (e.g., Coupa, Oracle, PeopleSoft Financials)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Excel
  • Ability to learn quickly and retain information
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently, make decisions, and apply sound business judgment
  • Dependable and accountable
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills; ability to communicate and interact with various intercompany departments

Nice To Haves

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 3–5 years of experience in accounts payable, accounting, or related positions
  • Strong work ethic, focused on accountability and follow-through
  • Professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality, with sensitivity around sensitive data
  • Ability to identify and prioritize dependencies, work effort, and deadlines
  • Advanced end-user computer skills, especially Excel (formulas, pivots) preferred
  • Experience in a customer service environment, solving complex problems and diffusing customer anxiety
  • Experience in process review and documentation
  • Comfortable interacting with multiple levels of management and peers
  • Projects self-confidence, enthusiasm, and initiative
