Your Role: The NA Distribution Logistics & Financial Analyst plays a critical role in delivering actionable insights and solutions that impact both operational and financial outcomes. This position is designed for professionals who thrive in fast-paced environments and are passionate about leveraging data to influence strategy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance, or related field
  • 5-7+ years of experience in transportation analytics, logistics finance, or supply chain analytics.
  • Expertise in Excel, BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Palantir), and ERP/TMS systems (SAP, Oracle).
  • Strong understanding of transportation economics, rate structures, and cost drivers.

  • Experience with transportation contracts, financial auditing, and Lean/Six Sigma.
  • Exposure to M&A integrations, network transformations, and DG logistics.

Responsibilities

  • Logistics, Transportation & Network Analytics Perform end-to-end transportation and distribution analysis, including network optimization, mode optimization, lane strategy, and carrier mix analysis.
  • Lead analytical support for carrier sourcing events (RFP/RFQ), including scenario modeling, bid evaluation, and total cost of ownership analysis.
  • Analyze LTL, FTL, parcel, intermodal, and last‑mile transportation spend and performance.
  • Identify opportunities for service level improvements, cost-to-serve optimization, and freight audit accuracy.
  • Support decisions on warehouse location strategy, capacity planning, and make/buy analysis.
  • Financial Planning, Budgeting & Controllership Develop annual transportation and warehousing budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-range outlooks.
  • Manage monthly close activities, including accruals, variance analysis, and corrective actions.
  • Ensure strong financial controls and compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Translate complex data into executive-level insights and recommendations.
  • Freight Payment, Audit & Governance Oversee freight payment, audit, and dispute resolution processes.
  • Act as primary liaison for freight payment providers, carriers and internal teams.
  • Monitor weekly payment activities and maintain governance frameworks.
  • Data, Systems & Process Excellence Design and maintain KPIs, dashboards, and scorecards for transportation and warehousing.
  • Utilize ERP, TMS, and BI tools to deliver integrated, actionable analysis.
  • Lead system enhancements, automation projects, and data governance improvements.
  • Business Partnering & Stakeholder Management Serve as a trusted advisor to Distribution, Transportation, Procurement, Finance, and IT.
  • Support contract negotiations with fact-based insights and scenario modeling.
  • Drive change management through clear analysis and training.
