This senior leader should be a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of technology industry trends, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record in driving organizational change and talent management.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of leading HR technology transformation in a large, global, and complex organization.
  • Deep expertise Workday, AI, data analytics, cloud-based HR platforms, and digital workforce solutions.
  • Visionary leadership with the ability to inspire, influence, and drive change at all levels.
  • Strong strategic, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and project leadership abilities.
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Information Technology, or related field; advanced degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • HRIS Strategy and Operations: Develop, and partner with IT to execute, a comprehensive HR technology strategy that delivers scalable, globally-consistent, technology-enabled HR processes that drive business results.
  • Partner with Gartner stakeholders to align HR Technology roadmaps with business priorities, and translate business requirements into effective technology-enabled HR solutions.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, identifying innovations that can accelerate business and associate outcomes.
  • User Experience: Prioritize user experience in HRIS design and functionality, fostering an intuitive and efficient platform that meets our associates in their flow of work.
  • Understand Gartner’s associate lifecycle and drive digital innovation that enables progressive people processes.
  • Implement strategies to gather user feedback and combine with operational metrics to improve the HR Technology portfolio to meet evolving needs
  • Partner with key stakeholders on change management and communications initiatives, aligning HR Systems activities with HR priorities to communicate changes, manage expectations, and drive user adoption.
  • Data Governance and Security: Oversee data governance and security across the HRIS portfolio to ensure associates have access to the tools and information needed to drive business results, while maintaining compliance with regulations and safeguarding sensitive information.
  • Collaborate with IT and security teams to implement robust data protection protocols.
  • Vendor Relationship Management: Manage relationships with HRIS vendors, ensuring their solutions align with Gartner’s priorities and deliver meaningful business and associate value.
  • Negotiate contracts and oversee service level agreements, in partnership with IT and Procurement, to optimize vendor partnerships.
  • Organizational Leadership: Manage HRIS as a business, establishing success metrics and regular management reviews to drive business outcomes, improve associate experience and support economic priorities.
  • Build a resilient team of highly-engaged associates with the skills and leadership capabilities to deliver sustainable business results across all levels of HRIS.
  • Manage HR Systems capacity through rigorous planning, prioritization, investment and collaboration with key stakeholders to deliver on HR’s mission critical priorities.
  • Foster a culture of experimentation, agility, and continuous improvement within the HR technology function.
  • Stay ahead of emerging trends in AI, automation, and workforce technology; advise on their strategic implications.
  • Continue to optimize and maximize our HCM (Workday) in collaboration with key stakeholders and our vendor partners.
  • Develop a strong partnership with Workday and other vendors.

  • A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 208,000 USD - 261,000 USD.
  • In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan.
