The Music Therapist serves as a licensed behavioral health professional within the interdisciplinary treatment team of the Acute Partial Hospitalization Program. This role integrates creative, evidence-based therapeutic interventions to support patients in developing healthy coping mechanisms, emotional regulation, and self-expression. In addition to facilitating structured music therapy and expressive therapy groups, the Music Therapist serves as a case manager and coordinates the treatment for an assigned number of patients under the supervision of the physician and/or Clinical Supervisor.
