About The Position

POSITION TITLE: Music Therapist DEPARTMENT/LOCATION: Special Services/TBD STATUS: Certified – Contract Description of the position: This position works with EC-12 students in classrooms which could include students with educational risk factors, as well as students with special needs. The ability to form relationships with a wide variety of students and families is essential. Differentiating instruction and methods for a wide range of developmental needs is required. The Music Therapist must understand students with significant needs and behaviors and how to program for them. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Kansas Music Therapy license required
• Salary commensurate with education and experience
• Criminal Justice Fingerprint
• Background Clearance
• TB Test
