About The Position

Beyond Hospice, part of Episcopal Homes of Minnesota, provides compassionate, person-centered hospice care to individuals and families across the Twin Cities. Our interdisciplinary team supports patients physically, emotionally, and spiritually, meeting people where they are with dignity and respect. We are seeking a Board-Certified Music Therapist (MT-BC) to join our Hospice Interdisciplinary Team. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in music therapy from an AMTA-accredited program
• Board Certified Music Therapist (MT-BC)
• Valid driver’s license and reliable, insured vehicle
• Ability to travel within the service area
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching

Responsibilities

• Complete music therapy assessments for patients and families
• Provide individualized, evidence-based music therapy interventions
• Address physical, emotional, spiritual, and social needs
• Support comfort, memory recall, emotional expression, and end-of-life goals
• Utilize culturally responsive music and therapeutic techniques
• Partner with nurses, social workers, chaplains, and care teams
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings
• Support patients, families, and caregivers throughout the care journey
• Promote continuity of care across services
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Follow hospice regulations and infection control standards
• Support a safe, respectful care environment
• Collaborate with leadership to support efficient care delivery
• Contribute to quality improvement and patient satisfaction initiatives
