About The Position
Newton South is hiring a Music Theory long-term substitute. Musician’s Music Theory I is designed for students with a strong musical background who would like to better understand the architecture of music . Instructor will review the fundamentals of music (clefs, meter, and notation) and proceed through the study of intervals, all scales, chord identification, and beginning ear training/sight singing through the use of computers and textbooks. Course meets Tuesdays 1:25-2:30, Thursdays 12:10-1:30, and Fridays 2:30-3:45
